I have always been an active human, so it's really no surprise that I found my way down the yogic path. After a childhood of musical theatre, dance, and figure skating, I was no stranger to the yoga mat. In 2010 I began managing a chiropractic office and began to rekindle my fascination with the movement of the body, In 2013 I attended my first aerial yoga class and fell in love with its playful nature. I had been nourishing my practice both at the studio and at home for about 4 years before I entertained the idea of becoming an instructor.
I began my journey as a yoga instructor with Circusoul Yoga in June of 2017. After completing all the aerial yoga training modules they had to offer, I decided to delve deeper with their RYT-278 Hatha/Vinyasa training in 2018. Somewhere along the way I discovered that I wasn't quite as connected to the class setting as I'd anticipated. I knew that there was some niche I needed to fill, but it was just out of my reach.
Then one day I had a pivotal revelation. One of the required training modules offered by the studio focused on Thai Yoga, and I knew instantly that this was what I was supposed to be contributing to the world. I started offering private Vedic Thai Yoga sessions in 2019, all the while continuing my training through two amazing practitioners: Kerry Tice (founder of Circusoul Yoga) and Mukti Michael Buck (founder of the Vedic Conservatory). I'm beyond fortunate to have had many opportunities to study with such knowledgeable teachers, both locally and in Rishikesh, India, and I anxiously await each upcoming training so I can soak up more of their wisdom. I am filled with gratitude to be able to offer this powerful healing practice to you all!
